Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities." This quote can be found in this newsletter. The Facts: When taken out of it's proper context you would think the writer is saying that he detests the gay lifestyle so much that he believes that society would be better off with gays remaining in the closet. That they should be hidden from view because they are second class citizens.
