Republicans Start New Web Site To Rebuild

But have they really learned anything at all?

After the stinging rebuke of the Republican Party last election Republican apparatchiks from redstate.com, and other groups, have created a new web site to show off their "plan" on what the Party should do.

The web site opens with...

FEMA Firefighters Manual Covers UFO Attacks, Crashes

I don't know about you, but I love a good U.F.O. story and FEMA seems to be whetting my appetite for more.

FEMA has produce a firefighter's guide, called "The Fire Officer's Guide To Disaster Control" on how to deal with catastrophes and are known to not delve into subjects that have no real credibility... or so we thought.

UK’s Brown Calling For One-World Government

Fast on the heels of the election of the U.S.'s first self-avowed Marxist President comes a call from Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown to create a "global effort to build a stronger and more just international order".

Speaking at his annual speech at the Lord Mayor's Banquet, Brown said "The alliance between Britain and the U.S. -- and more broadly between Europe and the U.S. -- can and must provide leadership, not in order to make the rules ourselves, but to lead the global effort to build a stronger....

I never really intended for this site to be exclusively about politics but that's what has been on my mind the most recently so that's what I've been posting about. Maybe one day other people will post stuff here and mix things up a bit.

Well, it's time for me to break out of the box at talk about something else for a change.

Hence I bring to you, no this isn't an advertisement....just a cool idea I think, a watch that has a USB flash drive built-in.

Man Arrested For Wearing McCain/Palin Shirt At Rally

A man wearing a McCain/Palin shirt was arrested at a rally where people were reveling in the Presidential win of Barack Obama in Philadelphia.

Granted, some will say that the man refused to leave when "ordered" to by the police. But the problem with that argument is that an illegal demand from a police dept have no force in law and if/when the police carry things farther and arrest someone for an illegal order the victim, yes he is a victim here, have standing to sue and a moral obligation to fight to have these officers removed from the force.

Major Supreme Court cases for the new term

Highlights of some high-profile cases that the Supreme Court will take up in its term that begins Monday:

_Drug maker liability: Vermont musician Diana Levine won a $6.8 million judgment against drugmaker Wyeth after having part of her right arm amputated in 2000 when an anti-nausea drug was injected improperly. Now Wyeth, backed by the Bush administration, wants the high court to rule that Food and Drug Administration regulation of prescription drugs _ in this case, approval of warning labels for drugs _ overrides state laws and makes it easier for companies to defend against consumers' claims.

Republican Lawmakers Jump To Dole Out Another $6 Billion

Republicans used to stand on the principles of small government, less taxation and lower costly regulations. But they have certainly lost their way under the iron rule of the Neo-Cons. The final outlay for this new burden on the taxpayers will be $6,000,000,000, according to the GOP's own web site: GOP.gov on H.R. 6867

Bush & McCain Say They Aspire To Be Dictator!

Both John McCain and President Bush has made statements that they aspire to be Dictator of the United States.

Speaking in an interview (NPR?) on Sep 30, 2008, John McCain admits to desires to be dictator, proclaiming it's "something he's always aspired to be". Saying these traitorous words in a matter of fact tone without a hint of joking....there is never a time a Presidential aspirant, nor anyone in Government, should ever say these words in even a joking manner.

Ron Paul Speaks On The Bank Bailout

Ron Paul has been predicting the collapse of the credit markets for a very long time and has even gotten many people to finally wake up to the damage that the Federal Reserve with it's fractional reserve system will eventually destroy the dollar and the markets.

In this video on the House floor Paul lets loose on the causes behind the fiasco and what may happen to the dollar now that the "No Bank Left Behind" bill has passed. And he mentions the need for oversight of the Federal Reserver and the President's "Working Group on Financial Markets", or as some call it the ""Plunge Protection Team", to "find out what they're doing, how much have they been meddling in the markets".

Ron Paul: Slanders Exposed [paul is a racist]

This slander has been going around since people first started posting the distortions from the newsletters and is directly tied to those distortions and slanders. The quotes from the newsletters have been going around a long time before tnr.com posted the actual newsletters. Just as the quotes from the newsletters are being distorted and misrepresented so too is the slander that Paul is a racist. If it weren't for the distorted quotes from the newsletters, claims of racism would be absolutely laughable.

There is absolutely no proof that Ron Paul is a racist. There are no videos of Paul saying anything remotely racist and there are no papers, known to be written by Paul, that would show that he is racist. Quite the contrary, there are many videos and articles by Paul that show him to be the exact opposite; a man fighting racism by pointing out the racist policies of government....

Ron Paul: Slanders Exposed [i miss the closet]

This is the second “paper” on the recent smear campaign against 2008 Presidential candidate Ron Paul. To see the other papers please visit the main page.

These smears are formed by taking quotes out of newsletters, which were published, but not written, by Ron Paul from 1978 to 1995.

The slander:

"I miss the closet. Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities."

This quote can be found in this newsletter.

The Facts:

When taken out of it's proper context you would think the writer is saying that he detests the gay lifestyle so much that he believes that society would be better off with gays remaining in the closet. That they should be hidden from view because they are second class citizens. This is the intended purpose of the slanderer, to make it seem to be something it is not....

Ron Paul: Slanders Exposed [fleet footed]

This is the first "paper" on the recent smear campaign against 2008 Presidential candidate Ron Paul. To see the other papers please visit the main page.

These smears are formed by taking quotes out of newsletters, which were published by Ron Paul from 1978 to 1995.

The Slander:

“If you have ever been robbed by a black teenaged male, you know how unbelievably fleet of foot they can be.”

The Facts:

While most of the attempts at slander have a source within one of the newsletters, this particular one can not be found. I have searched many times for this quote yet it still remains elusive. Until I actually see this quote in a newsletter I'll have to say it is probably something manufactured and hence just another baseless smear....

Ron Paul: Slanders Exposed

On January 8, 2008 the web site tnr.com posted an article about certain newsletters that they claimed were written by 2008 Presidential candidate Ron Paul. The article, written by James Kirchick, made some very strong claims that, he says, are racist, homophobic and filled with “conspiracy theories”.

After the article appeared at tnr.com it was quickly picked up by various other web sites. Sites that normally are fighting amongst each other, like littlegreenfootballs.com (Right-wing extremists) and dailykos.com (Left-wing extremists), have banded together to distort the newsletters and smear the Paul campaign. You know a candidate is a major threat when people on opposite ends of the political spectrum are joining together to fight a common foe. These web sites are cheerleaders of the “establishment” and they will fight anyone who encroaches on or threatens their territory, the Paul campaign is a direct threat to their big government meal tickets. Even establishment old media sites such as Fox News and CNN have printed stories on this smear campaign. I have dubbed this smear campaign “littlegreentnrKOSnazis”. This represents the main four campaigns that have banded together; littlegreenfootballs, The New Republic (tnr), dailyKOS (KOS) and neo-nazi leader Bill White (more about White’s involvement later)....
